Vaccination Schedule for Newborns — Dr. N. Sravani, Pediatrician in Chirala

Dr. N. Sravani — Pediatrician, Sri Gorantla Super Speciality Hospital, Chirala

After a baby is born, one of the most important responsibilities of every parent is ensuring their child receives all the necessary vaccines on time. Vaccines protect newborns and young children from dangerous and life-threatening diseases — many of which can cause permanent damage or even death if left unvaccinated.

Dr. N. Sravani, Pediatrician at Sri Gorantla Super Speciality Hospital, Chirala, recommends all parents follow the standard vaccination schedule from the very first day of birth.

Why Vaccination is Important for Newborns

A newborn baby's immune system is not fully developed. They are highly vulnerable to infections and diseases. Vaccines work by training the immune system to recognize and fight specific diseases — without the child having to suffer from the actual illness.

Missing or delaying vaccines puts your child at serious risk. Following the complete vaccination schedule on time gives your child the strongest possible protection during their most vulnerable years.
